JiaoDa Kunji High-tech Company Limited, as a key
enterprise for producing large size and precision
machine tools in china, was one of the experimental
units of stock system standardization, and its shares
were listed in Hong Kong. Its predecessor was Central
Machine Works established in 1939. and then renamed
Kunming Machine Tool Plant in 1953.
The company is mainly engaged in the design，development，manufacture
and sale of machine tools,
including: 1) machining centers；2) horizontal boring
machines； 3) jig boring machines； 4) copy milling
machines； 5) coordinate measuring machines；6) Accurate
measuring elements, and etc……
The company has developed 218 new products, 90
of which have won prizes of scientific and technical
achievements, 18 of which have won the Quality Prize,
and three silver medals issued by the State, Ministry
and Province；The company has win "Fifth European
Quality Prize" and "the Golden Star Prize
of Fine Image and Quality" in Spin.
The products of the company are widely used, in
space, aviation, automobile, metallurgy、 light textile,
tobacco and other mechanical industries.
The company has about 2400 employees, 500 of which
are of intermediate and senior titles.
An open-typed technical center was set up in 1998.
A new trial-producing shop with constant temperature
for the center has been built. The advanced technique
and methods of three-dimensional virtual design
for the products are introduced and CIMS has been
developed..
There are 1000 sets of machining equipments and
290 measuring and testing apparatuses in the company.
More than 10 sub-plants have been set up and 1500
production staff are available at present, It has
